Initially it will be offer the Up\'s 1.0 litre three cylinder petrol engine with two power outputs 59bhp and 74bhp. This car will be available in both manual as well as automatic transmissions.

It also offers decent mileage, it is expected to deliver the fuel efficiency of 11kmpl in the city and 15.4kmpl in the highway, it cannot be said excellent but it is not too bad also. Being a small car it is also expected to be mated with the 5 speed manual transmission gearbox.
