How To Wash Your Car Effectively

If the rainy season has come, you should be careful with your car maintenances.

Car that used during the rainy season would have greater chances to get acid rain, dust and dirt, the remaining gas from another vehicle, or exposed to ultraviolet light. If those are allowed, your car will quickly become damaged and may you have to say goodbye to your favorite car.

A well maintained car could be exceeding the way as long as 300 thousand miles without any repairs. Even the value of an antique vehicle would keep going higher value.

1. You should be careful with the dirt that can damage the windshield. For examples are bird droppings, air conditioner dripping water, muddy water, tree sap and insects can leave permanent marks on the paint if you didn’t washed them immediately. In addition, rain water content with high chlorine, soil water and the incorrect cleaning way can damage your paint car. 

2. The best times to wash is in the morning or in the afternoon. At this time, the sun will not damage the washing process.

3. Use the right shampoo. Using a good quality shampoo will allows great influence on the paint condition in the long term. You should use the car shampoo with pH Balanced. Make sure the shampoo you use does not contain detergents, because detergents can damages the car. Shampoo that has too low pH (less than 6) is acidic in nature and easy to make the paint corrosion. Shampoo with high pH (more than 8) is alkaline in natures and it will cause the paint fade quickly.

4. When washing, you are better to use water flowing from tap water. The benefit is the water can clean dirt and dust on the car body. Do not wash by a bucket or cloth. Besides cleaning, water flows also pressure the car so that the dirt can easily be removed. Then, you can wash the car paint by shampoo and rinse by water.

5. Dry the car by a dry chamois cloth. Remaining water could be cleaned with a micro fiber cloth that not occur defects in the paint. Make sure that you dry the car in a completely dry condition.
