Triumph Motorcycles India advertised that it will be launching another bike on September 18th. The British bike producer hasn't unveiled insights about the new model separated from sending a teaser picture; Triumph right now has 11 bikes on special in the Indian bike market.
A brisk look through its worldwide portfolio uncovers that it right now doesn't have any games offering in our business which might be effectively filled by the Sprint or the Trophy.
Anyway the teaser picture that Triumph has released a bike. We generally feel that Triumph will dispatch the Thunderbird LT (Light Touring) to fortify its cruiser lineup in our nation.
The bike is focused around the Triumph Thunderbird Storm. The styling of the Triumph Thunderbird LT is much the same as that of an average cruiser with heaps of chrome, vast fuel tank, cleared back handlebar, wire-talked wheels, white divider tires and calfskin seats.
Different gimmicks on the 2014 Thunderbird LT includes a triple headlamp, brisk released windshield and removable calfskin saddlebags alongside slide plates and a flexible chrome heel/toe rigging lever.
Fueling the Triumph Thunderbird is the same 1,699cc, fluid cooled, parallel-twin engine producing as found on the Thunderbird Storm producing 95ps at 5,400rpm and top torque of 146nm at 2,750rpm. The bike has a fuel tank limit of 22-liters and weighs 339kg. The new offering will be valued over the Thunderbird Storm and is required to cost around Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom). The Triumph Thunderbird LT will equal the Harley-Davidson Fatboy in our bike market. For more subtle elements watch this space.
