Hyundai to manufacture Sonata and Sanata Fe in India

South Korean automobile company Hyundai Motors finally revealed its plan to manufacture two of the its most significant products Hyundai Sonata, also known as Hyundai i45 and Hyundai Santa Fe locally . A source claimed that the auto major has given a green signal to manufacture these two vehicles at its Chennai based manufacturing plant to serve Indian customers after successfully conducted a road taste of such new generation of premium sedan.

The decision taken by Hyundai Motor to manufacture these two cars locally, will really help the company in reducing the production cost and also keeping the price reasonable. The slowdown in India's economy made an adverse effect on the production efficiency on both international and domestic automobile companies, Hyundai is not untouched and suffered a major loss. However the launching of the next gen of Hyundai Sonata is great achievement as it successfully created an astir in all over the world        

Commenting on the production of Hyundai Sanata Fe, Mr. Arvind Saxena, director of marketing of Hyundai India, said, “We have already started manufacturing the Hyundai Sanata Fe in India at Hyundai's manufacturing plant in Chennai from August 2011. Beside, the company aimed to produce 225 to 259 units on the per month basis.”

Besides, the much awaited luxurious sedan Hyundai Sonata is slated to be launched in the next year, will be manufactured in India at the same manufacturing plant. Both vehicles are expected to come with discrete style and plenty of advanced features to catch the attention of a large number of car buyers.
