Logan revamped for sales

27 July, 2010

Mahindras sedan Logan is back in the car market with a new confidence as it has revamped itself and will hit the Indian automobile market with new looks. Initially it was left way back in competition from car makers like Maruti with its model Swift Dzire and from Ford and Hyundai too with their models of Fiesta and Accent. The Indian consumers were not sure whether the company called Renault would last in the Indian market and it became one of the reasons why very few people brought the Logan. A number of taxi companies started to book Logan which became one of the major factors in the image of the car coming down. With the Mahindra & Mahindra backing Logan the company was willing to do anything for this car model.

The prices of the new car were cut by 24,000 to 80,000 which has made the Logan the cheapest car in its segment. The car also improved its interior space and its mileage also and its advertisements were also focused on the new improved features of the car. The car company has also been trying to build Indian based imagery for this car model and one can pray for its success. Mahindra this time has approached the multimedia for the advertisement of the car as the last three years saw little advertisement for this Logan and Mahindra is hoping that the new advertisement campaigns would certainly pay off for this car model.
