Mitsubishi plans to launch Global Small Car in India

Mitsubishi is one of the most famous and trusted brand, auto makers of Japan. Recently this Japanese auto maker announced that, Mitsubishi will launch it’s small car in India by 2013. Mitsubishi has various other famous model which very popular to the worldwide.

All the models are very luxurious and comfortable and liked by customer. Mitsubishi is, only famous for big car. Small car is not manufactured by this company. But, now company is planning to make a small car for especially Indian market. Mitsubishi has recently introduced it’s new model the Mitsubishi Eco-X, that become very popular model.

Mitsubishi is now concentrating on small car also for Indian market, because India is a very famous market for small cars and there are various cars from different brands are available in the Indian market. In Indian market there are big demands for small cars.

The company has already started developing this car in Thailand. The company is developing it’s new plant in Thailand and this plant will be third plant of Mitsubishi in Thailand. The research work is going in full swing for this project. There are approximately 3,000 employee of this company. All the employees are Thai people.

Mitsubishi `is planning to manufacture 2, 00,000 units annually of small car at the early stage. According to the company’s plan 70% of the total production will be reserved for the export of the car to the other market, and rest will be for various other purposes.

Mitsubishi is very famous and trusted brand in India, who is operating in India by the joint venture with Hindustan Motors. Mitsubishi is planning to increase company’s output from 12,000 cars annually to 100,000 cars annually by the coming days.

The Global Small Car from Mitsubishi will be categorized under the B+ segment in the Indian auto industry and the car will have two types of engine capacity, 1.0 liter and 1.2 liter.
