Ford and Toyota to sign a MOU to develop Hybrid technology for SUVs

World’s two most popular automobile companies, Toyota Motor Corporation and Ford Motor, came together to develop a new hybrid system for light truck and SUV’s. The two companies have signed a memorandum of understanding to give their equal contribution to accomplish the task. They both have expressed their great desire to work together for the development of such great technology and made a commitment for equal partnership for the new task, concerned with the development of new hybrid system.

Toyota and Ford earned huge reputation for their products and created great impact on the mind of their customers by offering them great luxurious vehicles. This is the first time that the two major auto giant will work closely to accomplish a common task. The new hybrid system will make excited to SUV customers as it will bring great fuel efficient engine for SUVs and light trucks even without compromising the quality. Aside from fuel efficient, the new hybrid engine will be more powerful.

Ford and Toyota, both are quite anxious to accomplish their job of developing hybrid technology as soon as possible, so that customers can get benefit from this and hence they would be able to minimize their extra expenses for the maintenance of the vehicles. 

While talking about the recent agreement, Derrick Kuzak, Vice President of Ford Motor, said, “We have signed a Memorandum of understanding with Toyota group to develop the hybrid technology. We are fully committed to coordinate with Toyota to made it successful and hope our customers will get benefit from Hybrid technology soon. The technology will help them to reduce their expenses on fuel and maintenance of their vehicles.

He also said, “We are quite happy with great performance of our products, Ford Figo and Ford Fusion. This time we are intended to serve our SUV customers.” 

On the other hand, the vice president of Toyota Motor, Takeshi Uchiyamada, said, “We have anticipated that that the task will be accomplished under the assigned period. We have launched first generation, Pirus in 1997. It was a massive product gasoline-electric hybrid that registered a great sales record of 3.3 million hybrid vehicles. We are prompted to create an exciting technology that can help our customers to get great benefit.

I don’t have much idea about the hybrid technology that is to be developed by the two famous automobile companies. But I would like to congratulate them for their best effort, certainly that will pave a new way for bringing new technology in the market. I am pretty sure they will crack their mission successfully.

I would like to appreciate Ford Motors and Toyota Motors for such big effort. I think developing such Hybrid technology will be quite beneficial for those enjoy driving SUVs. It will be really interesting to wait and watch the new development, to produce the Hybrid engine, by Toyota and Ford. I think such effort was done earlier by some automobile companies but, it could not become successful. However this time, the project led by two top most auto giants, I am pretty sure for positive outcome.
