New Toyota Corolla Altis unveiled at Rs. 11.99 lakh

Toyota India's emtru level D segment prodcut - Corolla - was getting long in the tooth. Toyota knew this and has taken curative measure - it has dispatched the new Corolla Altis. At last! The new-gen Corolla made its introduction at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo in February. While the section level petrol trim of the auto begins at Rs. 11.99 lakh, the following variant - crosswise over both fuel sorts - is in excess of 1.07 lakh rupees more costly than the base petrol, having the value effect really a bit wide.

Mechanically, the new Corolla Altis stays unaltered with a 1.8-liter double VVT-I petrol and a 1.4-liter diesel engine equipped for producing a most extreme force yield of 138bhp and 87bhp, separately.

Petrol variants of the new-gen Corolla Altis fetches between Rs. 11.99 lakh and 16.90 lakh, while the diesel variants come in the value extent of Rs. 13.07 lakh to Rs. 16.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
